Delayed in Brookings

It looks like we will be delayed in Brookings for a few days as Susana has some significant saddle sores. As in, she can barely walk. As in, we needed to take a trip to the urgent care this morning. Turns out she has Foliculitis (infection of the hair follicles). Ouchie! She's on the mend but we need to allow time for those things to heal.

Meanwhile, I will recap our last couple of days. We left Bullards Beach campground and had a very quick and relatively easy ride to Humbug Mountain campground. There were stunning views along the way. 

The next day we took a rather long (53 miles) and hilly ride to Brookings. It was a tough ride for me but we had amazing weather, sunny skies and light, breezy conditions. We stopped for some photo ops at the dinosaur park.

We also had our first flat of our trip and of course it was a nail in my tire. My tires seem to scout out those nails.
