Our Bikes

Introducing BB Baker and Bluga. They are Surly Long Haul Truckers, appropriately named to take us on this long a** ride. They are equipped with Brooks saddles, Jandd front and rear racks, Ortlieb handlebar bags, Ortlieb front panniers (not pictured) and Blackburn rear panniers. They also sport Serfas rechargeable front and rear lights along with additional front and rear lights on our helmets.

We've taken these puppies on some overnight camping trips and they've worked out fabulously. We feel they handle even better when they're loaded up (remind me of that when I'm going up those California hills).

**We plan to camp and buy our food and adult beverages along the way. However, we will treat ourselves to a few nights in a motel room so we can sleep on a mattress thicker than 1/2 inch.
