What do you DO all Day?

That seemed to be the most asked question during our visit to Oregon. Our typical answer was, "Some days we do laundry." We usually got eye rolling after that remark. So I thought I would attempt to answer that very tough question. 

Some days we read.

We definitely do laundry.

We ponder life over amazing sunsets.

We enjoy unexpected fog during our sails.

 We sail with all three sails up. Yes, you heard me right, we actually had all of our sails up and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water.

Some days we have boat projects to complete like washing the outside of the boat, cleaning the inside of the boat, basic engine maintenance, grocery shopping and all the other things most people do besides going to work everyday. We just have the luxury of not having to go to a job at the moment, which leaves us more time to take naps. It's a hard life.

Back in the Sun

It's been a couple days since we've been back and other than a broken bilge pump, Jade held up marvelously. We had a fantastic time in Eugene and Portland and wanted to thank our friends and family for spoiling us rotten. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

We brought back a few needed items for Jade and are busy getting her ready for some extended sailing, which for us means over nighters. Baby steps!
